REPORT
Inside Public Education reports the results of a survey conducted by the Marist College Institute for Public Opinion and funded by the Dyson Foundation. 1,510 residents of Dutchess and Ulster Counties in New York were interviewed from November 30th to December 11th, 2006 about their public schools. The survey results for all residents are statistically significant at ±2.5%. The margin for error increases for smaller subgroups in the population.
Residents of Dutchess and Ulster Counties in New York were interviewed about the public schools in their communities. They shared their opinions, experiences, and insights about what they consider to be the best and the worst of public education in the school district where they live. [Full Report]

Appendix A: Questionnaire
The survey was conducted using Computer Assisted Telephone
Interviewing (CATI), this appendix is a printable paper copy of the survey
instrument. It includes the questions that were asked in the order they were
presented. Some directions, which clarify how the questions were presented
to respondents, are also provided.

This appendix has the full results, in table format, for
Dutchess and Ulster County residents combined. The tables contain the
